LA: Day 5
One last place to visit during my final day in L.A.: the highly-acclaimed Umami Burger. GQ’s Burger of the Year mysteriously contains the “Fifth Taste”, a Japanese umami flavor that supposedly doesn’t quite fall into the standard categories of salty, sweet, sour, or bitter.

The menu also has several other burgers, but we were curious about one of the fan-favorites:
The Truffle Burger. So. Damn. Good. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and my last taste of L.A.
